Mango butter provides many different benefits for your skin and is filled with tons of nutrients like Vitamin A, Calcium, Vitamin D, Folate, Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium, and more! Another benefit of mango butter is that it is non-comedogenic which means it won’t clog your pores and works great even for people who have acne prone skin.

Shea Butter and its Many Benefits

Shea Butter comes from the nut of a tree that can only be found in Africa, called the Shea-Karite tree. Historically, it has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries, and is a great product for smoothing, soothing, and conditioning the skin.

Shea Butter contains Vitamins A, E, and F and helps to provide great nourishment for the skin. It can benefit pretty much any skin type and does not contain any chemical irritants that may dry out your skin, furthermore, it won’t clog your pores. Shea butter is also extremely moisturizing and helps to restore the barrier between your skin and the outside environment, keeping moisture in and preventing your skin from drying out. The anti-inflammatory benefits of shea butter also means that it can help to minimize irritation skin conditions, like eczema.

Similar to mango butter shea butter also helps to keep your skin looking young, it can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne scarring and even help to boost collagen production.

The Healing Benefits of Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter may be one of the most familiar butter of this entire list, it’s extremely common and it used in a variety of lotions and creams as the main ingredient, and for good reason. Cocoa butter has high levels of vitamin K, vitamin E, and essential fatty acids.

Cocoa butter is also rich in antioxidants, which helps to repair damaged skin which can address skin aging, dark patches, and dull skin keeping your skin looking healthy and young. It also contains many anti-inflammatory properties that also help to protect your skin against the signs of aging. Additionally, cocoa butter is extremely hydrating and helps to moisturize the skin.  Another great benefit of this butter is that it has components that help to kill off bacteria which can reduce acne, and help to heal acne scars.

How Vitamin E Benefits the Skin

Vitamin E offers many benefits to the skin, one of the best being that it can help to reduce UV damage previously done to the skin. It can also help to reduce symptoms of dermatitis. Vitamin E is also anti-inflammatory, which means it helps to soothe and help calm the skin, it is also very hydrating.

By combining all these different kinds of butter and Vitamin E into our multi butter hand and body lotion, you get to enjoy the benefits of each and every one of them. This Ninon lotion in 8oz and 16 oz sizes.

Why Fragrance Oils Make the Best Scented Candles

Fragrance oils have many uses and are ideal for making the best scented candles. Ninon Corp offers a wide variety of fragrance oils in many different scents. We’ve put together a guide on fragrance oils and how to use them when making scented candles.

Understanding Fragrance Notes

To understand fragrance you can think of it like music. Fragrance has three sets of notes to create a balanced scent. These are known as top, middle and base notes.

Top notes or head notes are approximately 15-25% of the fragrance. This is the scent that you notice first and is also the scent that evaporates the quickest.

Middle notes are also known as heart notes, they are approximately 30-40% of the fragrance and make up the body of the fragrance. This is what you smell after the scent of top note has faded away.

Base notes are typically 40-55% of the fragrance. This is what is considered to be the staying power of a scent. Without a base note, the entire fragrance would evaporate too quickly and wouldn’t be able to properly scent a candle.

Understanding How to Smell Fragrances

When it comes to creating a scent or a fragrance it’s more involved than simply take a whiff. Instead what you should do is take three consecutive whiffs of a scent. This allows your nose to fully explore all the notes of the fragrance. Initially, you may only notice the top notes, taking multiple whiffs allows you to smell the middle and base notes as well.

If you find that the fragrances are beginning to blend together after a while you may need to take a break for a bit. Another tip is while you are actively smelling fragrances smell something like coffee beans, your clothing or even your arm in between each fragrance to clean your nasal palate.

You also need to keep in mind that everybody sense of smell is different. What smells good to you may not smell good to someone else. This doesn’t make a particular fragrance wrong, but it’s important to know that everyone will react to differently to different scents.

Using Fragrances to Make Scented Candles

Candles “throw” scents in two ways. The first is called a cold throw which is the scent you detect when the candle is unlit and at room temperature. The hot throw is the scent that is released when the candle is lit and burning.

When you are making a scented candle the wax must be melted to a specific temperature, before the fragrance can be added to the wax. Once the wax and fragrance are blended together you will be able to it cool down to the pour temperature and pour the candle into the mold.

Another factor with candle making is that the scent can be affected by the temperature at which the fragrance oil is blended with the melted wax. If you add the fragrance oil while the wax is too hot it will simply burn off, yet the wax needs to be hot enough to bond to the scent.

Soy wax is softer than paraffin wax, which means it bonds better with fragrance oils and that you’ll smell fragrance for the entire burn of the candle. In paraffin candles, the molecules are stronger and more difficult to break apart which can cause the fragrance oil to not get distributed as evenly throughout the wax. This can cause the scent to burn out. It’s important to use the right wax for candles so the scent is properly distributed.

homemade candle

Fragrance Options

When it comes to scenting a candle there are two types of scented oil for candles you can choose from; fragrance oils and essential oils.

Fragrance oils are made of aromatic ingredients derived from nature and created by scientific methods. The natural ingredients include essential oils, resins, and absolutes. Essential oils, on the other hand, are distilled down from the oil of the plant that they were extracted from. While essential oils are natural and can provide different therapeutic benefits, there are some drawbacks to using them in oil scented candles.

Essential oils provide a good cold throw, but tend to have a very small hot throw, meaning they will provide very little scent while burning. Additionally, the range of scents are more limited with essential oils and finally, some essential oils can be toxic to your pets, which needs to be taken into consideration first.

Ninon African Black Soap

Why You Should Be Using African Black Soap

African Black Soap has a wide range of benefits and helps to promote healthier skin. For centuries this soap has been used in West Africa since ancient times. It can be used for everything from cleansing the skin to treating skin infections.

What is African Black Soap?

This soap is made from plants, tree park, oil, and honey. To make this soap plantain skins, shea tree bark, palm tree leaves, and coconut pods are dried and then roasted before being added to shea butter, coconut and palm oils and honey. The soap is then cured outdoors.

What are Some of the Benefits of African Black Soap?

Cleaning the Skin

African black soap does an excellent job cleaning the skin. Not only does it have a nice lather but the ingredients are antimicrobial which help to both clean and protect the skin. Plus, the natural moisturizers in the soap help prevent the removal of the skin’s natural oil.

Exfoliates the Skin

Since this soap is raw and unprocessed and contains plant and tree bark it is excellent for exfoliating the skin very gently while getting rid of debris, dirt and dead skin cells. It is also great for removing bacteria from the skin and making it healthier than ever.

Reduces Lines And Wrinkles

Another great benefit of African Black Soap is that it can help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This is due to the antioxidant properties of the soap found in the plantain peels which helps to both fight skin damage and protect the skin from the aging process.

african black soap

Heals Acne Scars

Similar to its effects on fine lines and wrinkles, African Black Soap can be very effective in reducing the appearance of scarring. The soap helps to reduce irritation and inflammation while fading and lightening acne scars by boosting collagen production and hydrating the skin.

Heals Acne

Not only does African Black Soap help heal the effects of acne, but it can actually help to prevent it. Because it naturally contains ingredients like lauric acid, coconut oil, and fatty acids that help to fight acne on the skin, as well as coconut oil which helps makes to balance the skin’s pH it is great for healing acne.

Evens Skin Tone

African Black Soap helps address issues caused by hyperpigmentation, dark under-eye circles, skin discoloration and even helps prevent skin spots from forming. The black soap is useful for healing these problems due to hyperpigmentation. The cocoa pods in the soap help control melanin production and lighten skin tone in problem areas.

Fights Eczema and Psoriasis

The anti-inflammatory properties of African Black Soap work to soothe and calm symptoms of eczema. For those with psoriasis, this soap helps to cleanse the skin and soothe dry, itchy patches of skin. Since it has no chemicals or artificial fragrances it will not irritate your skin or trigger flare-ups of either condition.

Eliminates Fungal Skin Infections

The anti-fungal and antibacterial properties of African black soap help to fight off bacteria or fungus that could potentially cause skin infections.

essential oil in glass bottle

Uses For Glass Bottle Packaging

In most cases, oils should be stored in glass bottles rather than plastic ones. The reason for this is to prevent deterioration of the oil and also to prevent other particles from permeating it. Properly storing oils, regardless of whether you are making perfumes, body scents, sprays, roll-ons, or selling essential oils and therapeutic oil blends, can help extend the life of your product. This is particularly important if you are someone who purchases oils in bulk to sell in your online or brick and mortar store, in your Etsy shop, or on eBay. You’ll keep customers happy by selling them goods in containers that will maintain the quality of your product – and happy customers equal repeat customers.

What Kind of Oils Should Be Stored in Glass Bottles?

Essential oils should always be kept in glass containers. In particular they should be kept in amber glass bottles to protect the integrity of the oil and prevent them from oxidizing. If they aren’t stored properly they will begin to deteriorate and will start to lose their therapeutic qualities over time. The reason it’s important to keep in the darker colored glass is to protect the oil from sunlight which can accelerate the expiration of oils over time. The bottles should be airtight, screw on tops are ideal for this type of oil.

Other oils, like natural oils and body and fragrance oils or oils that have been diluted, can be kept in clear glass bottles and in some cases plastic bottles. Again, glass is typically the better choice when it comes to storing therapeutic oils because it protects the integrity of your product.

roll on glass bottle

Additional Benefits of Glass Bottles

Glass is overall a great choice for packaging your oils. It helps to protect the environment, it’s reusable, has a rate of zero for chemical reactions and is both nonporous and impermeable which means nothing can affect the quality of your oil. Plastic on the other hand is porous and can break down over time which can be damaging to certain oils and leave with you unhappy customers.

Whether you own a business selling essential oils, natural oils, perfumes, colognes or any other product that requires glass bottle storage, we are sure to have the right product for you. We offer glass roll-on containers, glass bottles in clear or amber glass and a variety of shapes and sizes. Ninon Corporation sells wholesale glass bottles that can be purchased in bulk by the case. Where To Buy Wholesale Body and Fragrance Oils In Bulk

Body and fragrance oils have a long list of uses and benefits that you may not be aware. From making your own soap, candles, perfumes, lotions, shaving creams and even room sprays the possibilities are endless. Not only do these oils smell fantastic, but there are a lot of benefits to choosing body and fragrance oils over other scent options. Ninon Corporation sells wholesale fragrance and body oils that can be purchased in bulk, and has one of the largest online selections available.

Why Choose Body And Fragrance Oils

It’s important to purchase these oils from a reputable distributor, so you know exactly what is in them. Our body oils and fragrance oils are made of natural fragrances and other natural oil blends that work naturally on the skin. The result of using these oils is a more personal scent that isn’t overpowering or “too much”.  They can be applied as generously as you desire and adjusted to your preference.

Uses For Body And Fragrance Oils

Planning to make something that will be used on your body like soap, lotions, and perfume? Choosing to scent those products with oil is far better for your skin, especially for those who tend to have dry skin. The skin is your body’s largest organ, which means that what you put on it matters and you should be selective about the ingredients in your products. That doesn’t mean you need to give up smelling good though. Ninon Corporation uses the highest quality oils, so when you purchase a bulk order from us, you know you are purchasing a quality product.

homemade soap

Our oils can be applied directly to the skin without the fear of drying it out. This is important because dry skin has difficulty retaining scent which means you’ll have to apply more product just to retain the scent. Oil based products don’t require additives unlike store-bought perfumes, soaps, and lotions. Additionally, store-bought products contain water and require both emulsifiers and preservatives which can be damaging to your skin.

If you’re planning to use these wholesale fragrance oils as a perfume or cologne, they can be applied directly to the skin in areas like the inner wrists, the base of your throat and behind the ears. The oil absorbs into the skin to produce a lasting scent. If you want to make lotions or shaving creams, you have the added benefit of being in control of what is going into the product rather than being at the mercy of mass production. As a consumer, or as an entrepreneur who purchases wholesale fragrance oils in bulk for soap making, soaps and lotions for their business, you can guarantee you are adding only the highest quality ingredients into your products. This is something your customers will love and will ultimately drive more business.

homemade lotion

For those planning to make room sprays or candles, there are still many benefits to choosing oils to make your own over purchasing pre-made versions. Besides being able to control the strength of the scent, especially if you tend to be sensitive to smells. Once again, you know exactly what is going into the product which you and your customers will appreciate. You can enjoy having a wonderful smelling home without the worry of breathing in harmful chemicals or  toxins.
